    Sir,
    My wife does this every year. Normally we release 6-8 per year. Last year we got 12. 3 so far this year. We have been doing it for about 10 years. Harvest the milkweed pods every fall and put them in the freezer to save till the spring so we can broadcast them where we want. Makes the mowing easier.. we grow them in the house in a mesh laundry hamper with canning jars to hold the milkweeds in. Seems to work good. Mid Michigan area..

      That’s great. I’m glad I’m not the only one. (I’m a bit lazy compared to you though. I don’t do much more than stick a caterpillar in a jar.)
