    This song has a companion piece, CDB’s “Long-haired Country Boy”…

    Although it is a truly Sothrun song, you can’t be too lazy Up Nort’ because winter is always coming and the wood needs making…

      That’s a good point. I think maybe the “heart” of America is more southern than northern anyway. I’m not saying New England is foreign or anything but it seems less resistant to blending in with global “every culture” than the south.

    The video for that song was recorded in my home county in Tennessee. I’ve hunted coyotes in the field behind him on that barge. Frankly I’m impressed they got a barge launched at that point in the river. Thanks for posting that.
