When it comes to kitten cuteness, resistance is futile.

Our wizened old barn cat is not particularly happy about the new competition. However, the superpower of kittens means the little one somehow got away with his share of food. Our barn cat would normally fight a wolverine to protect it’s food monopoly (and lose because it’s a small cat), but for some reason it didn’t smack the kitten. It just growled and put up with it.
(Yes, I know. Cow milk is not good for cats. It seems so damn wholesome but it’s not. I told Mrs. Curmudgeon to quit giving the little one cow milk lest it get the shits from hell. I believe I said something like “it’s like giving a toddler Taco Bell”.)

Once you feed a cat you are never cat-less again. Yes, we use an old pot for cat food. Classy eh?

LOL, got the oddest scare last night. Something smacked into my 2nd floor bay window, I looked out to see a white turkey again smack into my window flying crazy.
I cased it away, briefly. Heard more crazy sounds as night fell. Went outside with a flashlight and found it on my car. Chased it off to find it on my 2nd story deck railing.
Let it alone as it settled in and was quiet.
Damn thing plays 45 pound rooster at dawn. Even now almost 10:00 AM its pecking around the yard.
What do you do with a white (not pink eyed so not albino) turkey.
I’m not feeding it.
Ha ha ha you’ve got an accidental pet turkey. When I raised domestic turkeys they were actually quite fun. My favorite part was when I was squirrel hunting and three of them decided to follow me. No chance of sneaking up on anything when your turkey pal army is thrashing through the weeds with you.
If it’s a white turkey it’s domestic. Either give it a hot dog and be friends, cook it for dinner (they’re delicious), or hope it gets bored and finds its way back to where it came from. In case you’re wondering, turkeys are good drinking buddies.
Fair warning, when a songbird craps on your car windshield it sucks but if a turkey climbs up there and does the same you’ll experience a whole new dimension of yuck.
not a cat guy but i get it.

Kittens have an innate sense for locating people who are suseptible to their cuteness. I don’t know how they do this but I see it time and again. Like puppies.
Its funny how some prefer sharing their space with one animal and not the other.
Those cats are actually adorable!
Yeah they’re pretty much in charge now. The power of cute is unstoppable.
Yeah, had a couple of freeloaders come up out of the woods a couple years ago and moved in. They do keep rodents at bay, tho. I know this because they bring them to me to deal with.
