Cyberbrick Video

The forklift I made functions exactly like this one. This isn’t my video, someone else made their own forklift and added a soundtrack like a 1980’s workout video (which is awesome!). I loved making my forklift and I am sure the video maker loved making his. It’s super fun.

I’m too lazy (or too paranoid of YouTube) to post a video, but I’m super happy someone else did it. Have fun watching and give the dude a thumbs up if you want.

    Way cool! Thanks.
Major ommision: the tine gears need eyebrows above them and an upturned smile below.

Thanks for the cool content. I’ve been waiting for the “super awesome spool holding box” diversion – I’ve been wanting to put together something similar, and it’s great to hear what worked for others. I’ve only printed a few things at home on a more basic printer, but have fallen in love with OpenSCAD for designing useful things – mostly printed at (and for) work on a BambuLab X1C.

Looking forward to the next installment.

I haven’t yet drafted spool holding cereal box but I will soon now that I know there’s interest. The cereal boxes work incredibly well.

We’ve all noticed how shoddy products are compared to decades past. Now I have a better understanding of why. The only way this could compare to a 70s toy would be printing in metal and using more supports. Related: it still angers me that my trusty mixer broke because it had nylon (or printed?) gears.

You probably aren’t going to metal printing like Relativity Space, but it’ll be fun to see you do something practical.
