The Eagle Flies Alone

357 Magnum linked to a song I hadn’t heard before. She even included a link to the lyrics (I am one of the people that can’t always sort lyrics from Death Metal).

It’s pretty good. If you like metal and want to hear something different than the the derivative pop shit on your FM dial (do I date myself with the world “dial”?) you might enjoy it:

I respectfully disagree. Eagles mate for life, and the sight of courting eagles talons locked plummeting earthwards in a test and affirmation of trust is one of the greatest sights that can still rouse my stony heart. WatchIng them train their young to fly is also fascinating and instructive. I am not able to watch the embedded video due to internet problems, and cannot provide links to illustrate my points, so, sorry if I’ve offended by speaking of that which I know not and failing to demonstrate that of which I think I do.

The words to that song are Luciferic rebellion. Better to associate with The Creator than the doomed rebel…….Eagles are nobler than vultures.

Thanks for the latest vignette series. You may wish to speedily obtain some form of portable structure of loosely woven stuff, permitting free flow of fresh air and venting of the other kind, yet barrIng access for the winged annoyances which may in future be little inoculators sponsored by Saint Anthony of Pharma and Baron Gates of the Diminutive Flaccidity.

p.s. I once watched a mosquito cling to the cabin top as we tested the new prop on our weekend fishing runabout. The paint was still fresh enough that the beastie clung on over 40 kts, but eventually he joined his myriad buddies, and we switched up from 11″ to a 13″ for better rough seas torque and less top end whoopee. A PDR probably won’t resemble that experience, but I’m still looking forward to hearing of the blessedly insectless adventures you will recount soon. Get painting.

357 Magnum is a woman. Definitely a strong 2A advocate. One of my regular stops.

Noted. I added the proper pronoun (of the standard English language and not woke bullshit sort) to the post.

  3. Been a while since I’d seen this one.
You surprise me yet again, playing metal.
The incongruity of her being easy on the eyes and her guttural vocals was a bit jarring the first time I saw this and about half way through it this time I was yet again overcome with the fierce urge to punch some video editor in the throat repeatedly.
I don’t know who told them that changing the scene every .025 seconds was a good idea but they were very wrong.
