I don’t have much sympathy for the typical employer behavior of the owners of coal mines. Libertarianism says the legal system should not intervene as long as the employer is honest. However, I am free to conclude it is a bad deal for the employee and assign my empathy to the parties accordingly.

I agree about the trigger; I don’t care if it’s a photo from 40 years ago I still don’t want a finger on a trigger with a barrel pointed at me. I’m pretty sure I could be in a coma and a sight like that would wake me up long enough to bitch slap anyone doing it in real life.
