Christmas is about giving. My gift to you is to shut my yap. No need to thank me. I’ll show up again some other time. Feel free to buy a t-shirt in the lobby and have a safe drive home.
We’re all lucky. I had a post in mind about The Trumpening. Like the world needs more of that. Fortunately, Bowling Pin Chicken was unavailable for consultation and my dog is too noble to discuss such matters. Lurch the cat wanted to talk but I think we can all agree he’s brain damaged. I got the point. It’s Christmas Eve.
No politics this day.
Merry Christmas.
No No No we love your yap. You should yap more.
Hope you have a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
Written proof that I should continue my BS! Could there be a better Christmas present for a blogger?
I’m printing this comment and handing it to Mrs. Curmudgeon.
Merry Christmas to you & all yours at the compound…. Got a wonderful box full of bacony goodness this afternoon just before we launched the jolly fat guy out of town with his reindeer…. Thanks so much!!!
Excellent news! For once I timed things well. Enjoy it.
So Lurch is now channeling Thunder Rodent Thighs? Well, what else would one expect from a cat that leans to the left? Looks like he’s a natural to be a hive-dweller.
Merry Christmas! And don’t forget to put out some carrots (or apples) (or sweet feed) for your new horse…

Oh damn! I forgot about the horse.
I’ve been giving the duck pig feed. He doesn’t seem to mind.
Just be sure that you are careful of what you feed BPD if (s)he starts laying eggs and you decide to eat same. In fowl, “You are what you eat” rings especially true. Had a friend that was feeding her duck sweet feed (extras from her horses) and decided to eat one of the eggs. FOUL!!! Convinced her to try laying feed instead, and she was pleasantly surprised. Still not something you want to eat as a hard-boiled egg, since it was tougher than that from chickens, but scrambled worked great.
Merry Christmas & a Blessed New Year
To you as well.
And Merry Christmas to you my friend…..found you about 3 or 4 months ago & wait with eager anticipation about the goings on of the bowling pin chicken & the rest of your world….you have a lot in common with guys from previous eras who spouted homespun humor….you know the kind of humorists I’m talkin’ about. Again, thank you! and Merry Christmas.
Thanks. Merry Christmas to you too.
