I lost sleep over this!
I couldn’t imagine what insane shit was going on to turn duck into bacon. Transubstantiation?
I went back to the restaurant and checked. The menu was missing a comma. It wasn’t “duck bacon” it was “duck, bacon, and other stuff”. They left out the comma!
My dumb ass spent all night thinking about it.
Regardless, it was delicious.
