I Had A Bad Day

…so Mrs. Curmudgeon brought home a present. (I’m referring to the tequila and not the hammer, though both have similar effects to your head.) She bought my favorite brand and even got the supersized bottle.

Everything is fine but I may not be posting for a few days.

Hang in there. MDS can strike at any time, but will usually disappear after application of sufficient medication. Of course, the subsequent hangover may be worse than MDS, but sometimes a man’s just gotta do what a man’s gotta do!

Ouch! While I love the flavor, it doesn’t like me much.

  3. I have never been able to drink tequila. As for Jim Beam, etc? Everyone around me drink it with coke and that shit (in my opinion) is nasty shit. Give me a good shot of bourbon or vodka maybe….
    Is a beer guy.

I like 1792 Ridgemont Reserve (Kentucky Bourbon) but I often shamelessly mix it with coke. I’m deplorable like that.

As for beer, I love Oktoberfest beers and wish they were served year round. In winter I like 1554 Lager. It’s only for when it’s cold out. You can’t chug dark beers when it’s hot. I’ll admit that drinking tequila is like juggling hand grenades but it was necessary.

So the evil goblins are doing the happy dance inside your skull? Can’t say I sympathise, much …

Hope you’re feeling better soon. Can’t say I experimented with tequila much outside once or twice back on active duty, but it seemed like craziness was a distinct possibility under its influence. Now I only consume the stuff in the occasional margarita.

Decent scotch or bourbon seem safer, somehow.
