The Joys Of Homeownership: Part 2

OK so here’s what happened in the last few days; Turkey had a coup attempt and my plumbing mutinied. Shockingly, only one of those events made the news. Details will follow about the more important of those two events when I get my feet back under me.

I didn’t know AC had turkeys…oh, THAT turkey. My father was a Master Plumber; one of his books made a case for civilization being impossible without proper plumbing. Good luck, AC.

    • He’s right, civilization is proper plumbing.

      • Mark Matis says:

One should be careful talking about “proper plumbing” these days. After all, Our Betters have decreed that plumbing has no meaning. You are what you choose, regardless of how you are plumbed. Anything else is like, bigoted, dude!

        • Robert says:

Going with your analogy Mark: Yah, well, if you have backfall on yer personal plumbing, you’ll know Our Betters are fulla $#!t. Not sure if that analogy holds water, but it was fun to type. I should clarify that my father didn’t write the book, it was just one in his tradesman’s library. I didn’t like digging ditches in the summer sun so I went to college. He still made more money than me…

Yeah; Turkey has political upheaval, Chicago cops are corrupt. Ho hum. Nest they’ll be shouting it from the rooftops that water is wet. But a cellar full of water is serious.

Turkey had a coup attempt? I have been all “I hope the Curmudgeon didn’t drown or get electrocuted in his basement.” Guess I’ll have get a TV after all. Nah, Turkey’s too far away to worry about. I’ll just stick to the people I like.
